LIOGY loungers have opened an entirely new market in the field of exclusive interior design a few years ago: Liogy Lounger are ergonomically optimized for lying down and reading in the prone position, while the book, laptop or tablet lies on the floor. A healthy and ergonomically optimized prone position, can be pain-relieving to the back and acts preventively against back pain. While the Liogy Lounger of the first generation was thought only as a luxury furniture for the exclusive interior area, the currently awaited health furniture line „Liogy medical“ aims at people whose back pain can be alleviated, cured and ergonomically optimized in the prone position. Reading, working and internet surfing on the laptop, can once again be pain-free in a relaxed prone position. However, before using the Liogy medical Lounger, a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon is required for each patient, to determine if the prone position is useful in their particular case. Physiotherapists and orthopedic surgeons generally welcome this prone position for individuals with back pain, even as a preventative measure. The models of the Liogy medical Lounger series are equipped with fewer features than the luxurious Liogy Lounger, however, they have the same functionality for a comfortable and ergonomically optimized prone position. At the moment, Liogy medical lounger are available in natural wood color only.
